Background

The National Park Service is an agency of the United States federal government within the U.S. Department of the Interior that manages all national parks, most national monuments, and other natural, historical, and recreational properties with various title designations.

Requirements

This project will include, but is not limited to:

  • Review Schematic Design preferred alternative which will be provided by the NPS
  • Upon award, determine and provide an overall Project Schedule, including design and construction work and proposed meetings.
  • Inspect noted fireplaces for wood stove additions
  • DB Contractor shall test all buildings for radon prior to construction, including buildings already fitted with radon mitigation systems. DB contractor shall retest all buildings after building envelope improvements. Buildings that test positive for radon after the second test shall have a radon mitigation system installed.
  • Submit DB Design Development and DB Construction Documents for review and approval.
  • Construction of the project.
  • Provide as-constructed drawings
