Requirements

  • The CMOP program objectives for mail manifesting are:
    • I)  Timely and controlled management of parcels
    • II) Implementation and sustainment of effective internal controls and administrative services to ensure   delivery of properly manifested parcels within required timeframes
    • III) Accurate and timely invoicing
    • IV) Collaborative business partnership with CMOP, United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Services (UPS) and Federal Express (FedEx)
    • V) Accurate and timely data enabling comprehensive dynamic tracking, real time notification, reporting of parcels and delivery performance information throughout the manifesting, transport, distribution and delivery process.
  • Services to be provided include parcel pick up from CMOP facilities and DTP Vendor(s), application and pre-payment of postage or shipping charges, insertion of parcels into the United States Postal Service or third-party carrier, delivery performance of parcels, quality control, tracking, reporting, and accurate billing.
