Previous Requirements

Test Automation services from the proof of concept phase through production and maintenance to ensure products and developments are ready for the CBP production environment. PSPD Test Automation involves working to build Automation frameworks, build on existing automation scripts, design, test execution, post-testing dashboards/reports, and partner with other personnel (Business Analysts, Developers, Testers) from various Divisions to enhance PSPD software development efforts via incorporation of cutting edge Automation suites and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and tools, and identify and incorporate innovative and best practices. This entire effort will result in more accurate reporting, project planning, scheduling, faster implementation, and thorough monitoring of problem areas. The PSPD Test Automation Team is an active partner in the entire software development lifecycle whether it be Waterfall or Agile, from requirements building to deployment support. It also supports other DHS components, agencies, and countries with testing needs. FSD Test Automation supports projects and Directorates/Divisions with development of current and future technology. FSD is responsible for the base enterprise approved operating systems, overlays, desktop updates, and all patch and release management for the workstations. The Enterprise Testing Team within FSD provides testing support to CBP enterprise for Windows Operating Systems and images, security patches, current and new technology, applications’ software packages for CBP enterprise deployments, and workstation updates, and load/performance testing.
