Requirements

The contractor shall:

  • Provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) handling the import and export of Defense Transportation System (DTS) sponsored and non sponsored cargo through the Ports of the Pacific Northwest (PNW), Washington a strategic Northwestern seaport located where the Pacific Ocean meets the mouth of the Puget Sound River and the Port of Portland Oregon. All tasks shall be completed per requirements stated throughout this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and in a manner consistent with “Safety, Efficiency, and Customer Service in Mind”.
  • S&RTS services will cover the full spectrum of managing US Military cargo (e.g. containers, vehicles, breakbulk, and rotary or fixed wing aircraft) transiting through the PNW. Operational tasks shall include but are not limited to “all” stevedoring and longshoring services required to manage vessel, truck, and rail loading & discharging, port reception and disposition, cargo management (staged, prep, and onward moved), intra port transfers, vessel prep, documentation (tallying & checking), and warehousing/storage of dunnage & tiedown materials.
