Background

The NSWC Crane Electro-Optic Technology Division provides full life-cycle support for military and national security electro-optic and laser systems, including technical/program management, technology transition, design, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation, sustainment, maintenance, and repair services. Services are provided to the Warfighter (Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, USSOCOM and other Department of Defense (DoD) and national security customers) in the areas of Airborne, Maritime and Ground Electro Optics (EO) Systems, including Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems, Targeting Systems, Security Sensors, and Missile Optics.

Requirements

  • Provide non-personal engineering, technical, and programmatic and life cycle logistics support services for electro-optic systems in support of NSWC Crane Electro-Optic Technology Division (Code JXQ). NSWC-CD provides total life cycle support for military and national security EO/IR and laser systems, including technical/program management, technology transition, design, engineering, logistics, test and evaluation, sustainment, maintenance, and repair services. Services are provided to the Warfighter (Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and other Department of Defense (DoD) and national security customers) in the areas of Airborne, Maritime and Ground Electro-Optics (EO) Systems, including Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems, Targeting Systems, Man Mounted / Hand Held / Weapons Accessory Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) Security Sensors, and Missile Optics.
