Requirements

  • The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, new and current material, transportation, tools, equipment, appliances, supplies, services, permits, insurance, and supervision necessary to renovate Buildings 1508 and 1559 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
  • Building 1508: the renovated building will serve as the new secure Training and Operations Center for the 216th Electromagnetic Warfare Squadron (216 EWS). Renovations include configuring approximately 8,500 square feet of interior space into training rooms, conference rooms, and administrative office spaces for classified operations and training. The work also includes construction of a large concrete pad adjacent to the building to support inspection, testing, maintenance, and operational training of assigned large multi-band antennas, as specified in the plans and specifications.
  • Building 1559: the renovated building will serve as the new unclassified administrative office space for the 216 EWS. Renovations include reconfiguring approximately 7,400 square feet of interior space into conference rooms and administrative office spaces for squadron command as well as shared support spaces such as a new breakroom and toilet facilities, as specified in the plans and specifications.
  • The scope of work includes repair and reorganization of exterior pavements to support hazardous materials storage, organizational vehicle parking, and non-organizational vehicle parking.
