Requirements

  • Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the VAMC Kansas City – Construct Radiation Therapy Addition as required by drawings and specifications
  • The design proposes a new construction gross area of approximately 18,346 ft². This new work will be adjacent to the existing hospital structure known as Building 26 and interact or otherwise integrate with the existing utility infrastructure within and without the existing building. The approximate actual work area is less than 1 acre, but immediate site storage is precluded due the proximity of the active Emergency Department entrance. Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) will be a necessity amid this effort, as the work area will affect the primary entrance to the main hospital and the emergency department
