Requirements

  • The Port Isabel Placement Area (PA) 3 is a contiguous, discrete site that is used to store dredged material for the Federal Navigation Channel (Brazos Island Harbor).
  • Port Isabel PA 3 is approximately 300 acres, enclosed by a single continuous dike, and is accessible by land.
  • The work will consist of replace/install drop outlet structure and pipe for PA 3; and 5-foot perimeter dike raise with option of construction of rip-rap shoreline erosion protection approximately 470 ft in length.
