Requirements

  • The Contractor shall furnish sufficient technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel to ensure the expeditious accomplishment of the work specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Additionally, the contractor shall perform all necessary field measurements and calculations to provide the required design and Specifications to provide all Architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) considerations as well as the construction to reconfigure the Patient Pharmacy for additional Freezers and Critical Electrical Power. The project location is building 1, second floor, room 2A136.
  • The D/B services will be negotiated for the development of a complete design (i.e., working drawings, specifications, reports, and construction period services). The D/B Contractor will be given written information; participate in project planning meetings, pre-bid meetings, and preconstruction meetings as required; communicate with VA personnel via telephone or e-mail and is expected to coordinate so that the final documents include all requirements in accordance with industry-standard practices, VA standards, VA design manuals, and review comments.
