Okinawa Construction Contract Requirements

The work may include, but is not limited to construction, repair, replacement and installation on various facilities, such as barracks/dormitories, military family housing units, administrative facilities, communication facilities, educational facilities, medical/dental/hospital facilities, dining facilities, industrial facilities (including aircraft/aircraft components/automobile maintenance facilities), warehouse facilities, ranges, operational/training facilities, roads, streets, bridges, site utilities/infrastructure, dredging, aviation facilities (including hangars, runways, airfields, taxiways, and aprons), buildings, shipyards, and parking lots, and other Base development facilities. The buildings range from large industrial buildings to support Intelligence operations to office space, warehouses, computer facilities, dining facilities, dormitories, medical facilities, and other community support facilities such as the Base Exchange and commissary. The utilities include but are not limited to water supply, storage and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, storm sewers, electrical distribution and backup generation, communication, Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) storage and hydrant fueling, and natural gas distribution.
