Multi Discipline Projects Requirements

  • The work is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, architectural design engineering services and Post Construction Award Services (PCAS). Services include preparation of Design-Build (DB) requests for proposals (RFPs) and 100% Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction documents for various project types. The work requires A-E services necessary for the preparation of technical statements of work that will be used in soliciting DB contracts. The A-E may be required to assist in evaluating design-build proposals and reviewing design-build contractor design and construction submittals to ensure that they meet the RFP requirements. Services may also include field investigation and facility damage assessments after natural disasters. The A-E may prepare 100% plans and specifications for advertisement. Performance duties include but are not limited to architectural programming, geotechnical investigation, surveying, cost estimating and Military Construction Project Data (DD 1391) preparation and other preliminary project documentation.
