Solicitation Description

NSN 5342-015269009; MOUNT, RESILIENT, WEAPON SYSTEM; WSIC: F; IQC PR: 1000197467. THIS PART IS MANUFACTURED BY SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION (Cage 78286), and SKF USA INC (Cage 80201), under part number 70361-08015-102.

THIS SOLICITATION WILL RESULT IN AN INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT (IQC) FOR A BASE PERIOD OF 5 YEARS WITH ZERO (0) OPTIONS. THE ESTIMATED ANNUAL QUANITTY IS 170 EACH; THE MINIMUM DELIVERY ORDER QUANTITY IS 42; THE MAXIMUM DELIVERY ORDER QUANTITY IS 168. CONTRACTOR FIRST ARTICLE TEST APPLIES. THE TOTAL DELIVERY DATE WILL BE 304 DAYS INCLUDE: 154 DAYS TO DELIVER THE CFAT, 60 DAYS FOR GOVENRMENT TO REVIEW AND 90 DAYS TO DELIVER THE PRODUCTION UNITS TO THE GOVERNMENT. INSPECTION AND ACCPETANCE WILL BE AT ORIGIN, FOB IS AT DESTINATION. THIS IS A DLA DIRECT PROCUREMENT. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED AS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT (OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION NOT PREVIOUSLY ADDRESSED). THIS IS NOT A CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM. PRICE, PAST PERFORMANCE AND DELIVERY WILL BE EQUALLY WEIGHTED. THE FINAL CONTRACT AWARD DECISION MAY BE BASED UPON A COMBINATION OF PRICE, PAST PERFORMANCE, SPRS AND OTHER EVALUATION FACTORS AS DESCRIBED IN THE SOLICITATION. THIS REQUEST IS FOR A WIRTTEN QUOTE.
