Requirements

The scope of this requirement is the procurement of maritime domain awareness (MDA) data-as-a-service to support the US Coast Guard preservation of life at sea (SOLAS) in international and US coastal waters. Successful accomplishment requires a solution supporting 24 hours a day/7 days a week surveillance and detection over names surveillance areas over longer periods of time and in differing surveillance areas.

  • This solution shall be capable of shifting to a new named surveillance area upon notification from the Government.
  • The solution shall provide real-time and historic MDA data on a contractor-provided platform for Coast Guard access.
  • This work will be performed throughout US coastal waters and in designated international waters, potentially throughout the world.
