Requirements

  • The project will use asphalt and aggregate base to resurface, restore, and rehabilitate multiple road segments within the Elephant Butte Historic District including: Dam Site Winding Road A/B, Ruins Road, Hospital Canyon Road A/B, Dam Site Entrance Road, unpaved Dam Site Marina Entrance Road, and Paseo Del Rio Campground Access Road.
  • The Paseo Del Rio River Access Road has native surfacing but will be improved with aggregate surfacing.  6 paved parking lots will be rehabilitated and repaved.  4 additional gravel/native/paved parking lots will be rehabilitated with aggregate surfacing.
  • This project is separated into a base Schedule A, along with two alternates, Option X and Y, to maximize the work that can be completed with the available funds.
