DFAC Kitchen Renovation Requirements

  • Renovate most of the public areas of the facilities.  The servery area of the DFAC will be completely redone to include new floor and wall finishes, casework, equipment, acoustical ceiling tile and grid, and lighting.
  • Remove a portion of the servery area to provide room for a drop-off area for the dish washroom which is to be modified.
  • Refresh the dining are with new finishes, as well as new acoustic ceiling tile.
  • Provide updates to all life safety systems.
  • Provide ADA upgrades to the restrooms to include alterations for ADA compliance at the front of the house.
  • In support of this work, MEP and life safety updates will be performed.
