Requirements

  • The scope of this project is to perform maintenance and repair work on the two 12′ x 12’ filling valves and two 12′ x 12’ emptying valves (per location) located at Newt Graham L&D, W.D. Mayo L&D, and Chouteau L&D. The valves will be pulled out for repair, undergo blasting and painting, and then reinstalled. The repair work will include the replacement of seals, backing/bearing bars, hardware, strut and trunnion assembly pins, bushings, keeper bars, and other necessary components. Additionally, certain valves may require casting build-up and line boring to address specific issues, such as worn castings where the valve connects to the strut.
