  • The work required to complete this project includes design and construction of a riprap overlay between the referenced elevations of Pomona Dam to repair areas of degraded riprap extending across the length of the embankment.
  • The existing riprap has widespread deterioration, including numerous benches and areas of gravel size riprap.
  • The degradation is most severe from Station 60+00 to 40+00 due to wave fetch.
  • Elevations for the overlay options are from elevation 995 feet to 999 feet (NGVD29).
  • Additional options will be included for the same elevations from 60+00 to 73+00 and 25-50 to 40+00.
