Requirements

  • Construct solar PV power generation systems at BAMC and Camp Bullis Taylor Burk Medical Clinic locations in accordance with all current and applicable codes. The main hospital at Brook Army Medical Center consists of the original main building referred to as BAMC, and a Consolidated Tower addition, referred to as COTO
  • There are two Central Energy Plants, CEP-1 and CEP-2. CEP-1 serves BAMC, and CEP-2 serves COTO. BAMC’s campus includes five large parking areas surrounding the hospital
  • The Camp Bullis Taylor Burk Medical Clinic is a small medical outpatient facility. The facility includes a parking lot in front of the building that the carport PV array will be installed over. Tasks associated with the BAMC Main Campus and Taylor Burk Medical Clinic include the design, installation, and commissioning of a PV system located in the parking lots
  • The design build team shall design an optimal layout for the PV array to fit within the constraints of the existing parking lots. Additional tasks associated with the BAMC Main Campus and Taylor Burk Medical Clinic include both mechanical and electrical work required to upgrade motors, drives, transformers, and associated equipment.
