Background

SSC/Space Sensing Directorate (SSC/SN) develops, acquires and sustains space and ground systems to provide global, persistent, infrared surveillance and environmental monitoring capabilities to the warfighter and the nation for MW, BA, TI, Missile Tracking (MT), Missile Defense (MD) and Weather missions.

Requirements

The Contractor will support critical activities in three areas, all managed by a single SSC/SNGT Government customer:

  • First, BGIF is the Government-controlled, Government-operated facility and infrastructure at Boulder, CO. BGIF provides the facility, infrastructure and technical baseline the SSC/SNGT OPIR TAP Lab uses to execute its RDT&E mission.
  • Second, SSC/SNGT OPIR TAP Lab at Boulder, CO is the Government organization with primary mission to perform RDT&E to explore, develop, advance, test and deploy innovative data exploitation and processing technologies, capabilities and software applications.
  • Third, SSC/SNGT OPIR TAP Lab supports specific capabilities at the OBAC. These capabilities include developmental capabilities for 11 SWS and 26 IS plus special data analysis functions at the TAC.
