Requirements

The Contractor shall provide:

  • New construction Flight III DDG 51 ships, in-service DDG 51 ships, and Aegis Ashore Sites during Combat System overhauls, upgrades and availabilities. Successful integration and test of the components for the warfare areas below in accordance with USN-supplied combat system test procedures is required. This will require the activation, test, and delivery of a fully integrated and ready combat system at the end of a ship’s modernization availability or sailaway for new construction. As a result, at the end of the test program, this potential requirement will deliver a warship fully capable in the following warfare areas:
    • Anti-Air Warfare (AAW)
    • Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)
    • Anti-Surface Warfare (ASUW)
    • Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)
    • Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)
    • Strike Warfare (STW)
    • Command, Control, & Communication (CCC)
